| Batesburg-Leesville Primary and the B-L and Twin City Rotary Clubs will present "Got Book?" on Tuesday, January 31 at 6 p.m. in the BLPS cafeteria. An art show will also be held from 5-7 p.m. and a spaghetti supper sponsored by the school's PTO will be held in the cafeteria beginning at 6:30 p.m. |
| Common Planning/Early Release Day will be held on Wednesday, February 1. There will be no Afterschool Program at Batesburg-Leesville Elementary School on this date. Dismissal times for all schools are as follows: B-L Primary, 12:45 p.m.; B-L Elementary, 1:00 p.m.; B-L Middle, 1:36 p.m; and B-L High, 1:50 p.m. |
Teaching the children of today is like playing in the NFL for most athletes, because it is a dream job. Being a teacher is like being an artist with a piece of clay, because we get the chance to try to mold each student just like that piece of clay.
I graduated from Cumberland College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. I majored in Biology and minored in Health. Along the way I have also earned a Masters Degree of Curriculum and Instruction Technology from Grand Canyon University. I have been a coach of football, basketball, track and soccer for 10 years. I my Personal life, I have been married for almost ten years to the former Perri Clark of Batesburg. She currently also teaches within Lexington School District Three and we have a beautiful three year old daughter named Sara Kate.
